Brian Lang

Brian Lang has been Principal and Vice-Chancellor at the University of St Andrews since 2001. Prior to that he was Chief Executive of the British Library for nine years.

In 2000 he was a visiting scholar at the Getty Institution, Los Angeles. Previous appointments have been with the National Trust and the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
